Creature dogs painted on the eve of death. This embrace I craved, the embrace I wanted to give, a specific curl of the spine moulding one to the other. A final embrace. It's an embrace I didn’t get in favour of rest, peace, sleep and more eager hands. I had had my goodbye in humour and good spirits, sparking minds' stories of jewellery boxes and sparkly things. my goodbye was not in limp hands.
